Why join a team for the "In Their Shoes" Walk?

There are many reasons to form a team.
The fundraising limit is lower($900 per walker for team of 5 or more);
the total of the team is what counts (not individual) and prizes will be
given to teams.

Also, there will be benefits of walking and talking with a group sharing the ups
and downs over the hours of training.

How to pick a team name

Team names can be as varied as your imagination. Pick a name that means something to you or your group. A team may be named after someone you are walking in honor or in memory of. Or, the team name can be extremely personal to you or your group or as whimsical as you would like (a shoe type or brand).

Fun Things to do as a Team

- Have team parties and picnics
- Invite spouses and children to some of the parties/events so they can get to know each other
- Have fundraising parties together
- Have a kick-off party
- Set up walks with other teams
